Octopus's Garden
Production Manager for the World Premiere Co-Production of Octopus’s Garden at Boston Court Pasadena with Circle X Theatre Co. and Outside In Theatre
by Weston Gaylord
directed by Jessica Kubzansky
When two marine biologists and a struggling composer discover that an octopus in a cephalopod lab has written the most transcendent piece of music ever heard, their worlds begin to unravel. Ambitions clash, egos fray, and their brush with something divine breeds obsession.
Innovative puppetry brings soulful theatricality to this fable about art, science, and the moral quandaries that erupt when another being surpasses humankind.

Dragon Mama
Directing Observer under Andrew Russell at the Geffen Playhouse
Broadway star Sara Porkalob returns to the Geffen Playhouse for Dragon Mama, the second installment of “The Dragon Cycle.” In this next chapter, Maria Porkalob, Jr. dreams of a bigger, gayer life beyond Bremerton, WA. But when an unexpected chance to escape arises, she faces an impossible choice—stay with her struggling family or chase freedom in the wilds of Alaska. Packed with ghosts, Filipino gangsters, and a killer ’90s R&B soundtrack, this award-winning, high-octane solo show is a raw, hilarious, and deeply moving story of resilience, queer love, and what it takes to break free and find home.
Mad Forest: A Play from Romania
UCLA MFA Directing Thesis Production
Mad Forest: A Play from Romania by Caryl Churchill
Mad Forest depicts a society before, during, and after a violent regime change. Developed with drama students in the immediate aftermath of the Romanian Revolution, Caryl Churchill’s episodic and surreal ensemble drama follows two families of different social classes, interrogating what happens to a people – and a nation – when trust and truth have been eroded beyond recognition.
Pericles
Production Manager for the West Coast Premiere of Pericles written by William Shakespeare in a modern verse translation by Ellen McLaughlin, and directed by Margaret Shigeko Starbuck for Boston Court Pasadena.
In partnership with Play On Shakespeare
When Prince Pericles uncovers a deadly royal secret, he flees for his life — only to be cast into a world of storms, shipwrecks, riddles, and loss.
Told by people in search of a home, this re-conceptualization of Shakespeare’s Pericles in Ellen McLaughlin’s translation embraces movement and music to tell a thrilling tale of adventure, survival, and the power of love against all odds, celebrating the resilience of the human spirit even in the darkest of times.
at the very bottom of a body of water
Production Manager for the World Premiere of at the very bottom of a body of water by Benjamin Benne, and directed by Juliette Carrillo for Boston Court Pasadena.
Every week, Marina returns to the same fish store, buys a catfish, and makes soup—a quiet, methodical act masking devastating grief. But when her usual fishmonger suddenly vanishes, her fragile routine shatters and Marina is forced to confront the wreckage of her carefully constructed world when something unexpected breaks through: the stirrings of romance and a tidal wave of magic. Paper cranes begin to fly, and Marina enters uncharted, terrifying waters. Is the unraveling of her comfort a curse, or the beginning of something wondrous, wild, and entirely new?
Poignant, surprising, and darkly unconventional, at the very bottom of a body of water poetically explores how we navigate life after the unexpected.
